Zeq2Lite's core gameplay mechanics are nearly the next generation different from the previous ZEQ2 game. Actions like punching, Energy Blasts and Flying are controlled through the Face keyboard buttons, and Chat is handled exclusively with the core itself which is great . If you've played any Street fighter games in the past few years, then you could jump into zeq2litie right away and start punishing opponents. since nothing was changed from ZEQ2 , all of the annoyances are fixed up as well. As soon as three or more enemies enter the area, targeting becomes a nightmare. Countering is still off and on, which is undeniably frustrating. There are also some collision detection problems, and the frame rate stutters at times with lagging, especially right at the beginning of a fight. Most of these issues have been in ZEQ2 games for months, and I'm amazed that ZEQ has picked it up, the game's developer, hasn't gotten rid of them by now.
Kid Gohan has just got added this year, offering five distinct of attacks to play through. Goku,Piccolo, Vegeta, and Frieza are the four headliners in this Game, with the fifth Being Nappa focusing on taking down most opponents, who has never witnessed this character in zeq2lite. Unfortunately, some of the attacks are fairly short and predictable. Perhaps the biggest addition to this game is the ability to go use zazoken and come from behind to attack your enemies with your energy before they can react. Here you can visit the rest of the the development for the next edition of this game for improvement at http://www.ZEQ2.com/lite to to see the next version of this game, interact with other fighters in game, and advance in tournament matches in-between the game. It's a cool idea, but it's implemented but not that great at the moment . The main menu is back but itself looks nice and neat, and only contains about four sections. The camera angles are nice but have problems in the zooming area, especially when fighting with someone the angle stuffs up. And fights are boring with the angle problem. I enjoyed last version's tournament much more than this version's, simply because I didn't have to go through this setting up all different commands before the game .
A new single player mode in Zeq2lite is Struggle, which is kind of a combination of fighting. You're given a great experience and you can either play or die in this game. As you progress, the game will make rivalries against new players online based on the fights taking place, and will include double team and clan fights to make it seem like you're a z fighting group against another group like on TV. The mode certainly has potential, but it would almost benefit from a little more structure. For example, it's far too easy to make your fly into water.
But what really makes the Zeq2lite mode work well is the vast amount of fighting styles available in this game. There is an insane amount of people in this game, everything from an struggle, to a Tournament match. And if those aren't enough, zeq2lite introduces a group attack for you to come up with your own rules. The game also brings back the highly enjoyable design , with a few new features and online play. when its online your friends can play it even better and enjoy it.
The online portion of Zeq2lite is solid. that weren't riddled with lag but this is laggy but picks up eventually.

If you have seen and played with kid Gohan, then you must be on a revision higher then 1536. Remember that anything above 1536 is currently not meant to be played yet.
If you merely updated it once to see how the newer revisions looked like, then my apologies, just to make sure.

Technically, the game as a whole isn't meant to be played yet. It's an open beta, essentially, so it's going to be riddled with errors, lag, and missing or incomplete features. Going into a match and expecting everything in ZEQ2-Lite to work perfectly in any revision is like slapping a Superman logo on a loaf of bread and expecting your sandwhich to fly...

okay I stopped reading after the first paragraph.

What in Lloyds name were you smoking when you said that. The systems are totally different from the ground up. The game mechanics are nothing alike.
Now if you were writing a review of the first 3 budokai games, that would apply somewhat. But ZEQ2-lite is a totally different story.

Not only that, but he constantly switches between ZEQ2, ZEQ2-lite, and ZEQ as project citations -- which would be equivalent to someone naming off different Earth Special Forces version numbers when talking about the same one. He addresses "new" features which aren't new, contrasts characters in a lineup that have no actual dissimilarity, and goes as far to point out mentioning game-mechanic systems that don't even exist.
I've tried writing a response to his post at least three times already, but after I had individually quoted and rebuked every single line almost, I just closed the page and moved on.
