Earth Special Forces and ZEQ2 are doing different things altogether...ZEQ2 is going completely anime while Earth Special Forces is...Earth Special Forces someone might explain a lot better but they are two very different games

Earth Special Forces is a semi realistic modification of Half Life based on Dragonball. The idea in Earth Special Forces is to outfly your opponent and getting in that hit when you notice your opponents misstake. No lockons no nothing. In essence its a FPS in third person view style.

ZEQ2 is made so that anyone can contribute to it. Its a project to get the community to help make the game and its working nicely. It takes the anime and turns it into a game. It also has a hard lockon system that makes it semi fighter game based. They threw away the FPS element in order to have the game combat closer to the anime.

Comparing the 2 is like comparing Half Life to Street Fighter. Both are legendary games, but you don't really have any ground to really compare them on.

By pulling our magician sticks from our sleeves and by waving it around telling magic words "azazum zequitum" and here we go it's all there, made together.

But it worked for a game only. Website was a different story. Accidently, Brad bought a new vacuum cleaner and apparently it was so cool, that it was NOT only cleaning your house for YOU, but it served as a maid and cleaned the house itself, (still) makes breakfast and lunch for Brad (and if he is lucky, it makes and dinner).

Brad used it to full extent and trained it to make websites. So later on, he asked his super almighty vacuum cleaner to make a ZEQ2Lite website and so the new game-mod was born!

If by smooth you mean not cartoony, then that's the style. Earth Special Forces is going for a semi realistic art style. ZEQ2 looks cartoony because they are going for a cell shaded art style that's closer to the anime since it looks like its drawn.
