I can say one thing. I don't like the punk Dante nearly as much as I liked the anime Dante.

His attitude seems similar, but the black hair instead of white makes him to much human rather than demon.

Not a fan of the looks, but I can see this appealing to the fans who didn't play the original for being to anime-ish

I've never played any of the DMC series, but I also agree, as I've had a similar opinion regarding Team Ninja's involvement in Metroid: Other M. Sure the gameplay is full of action and risk, but the other Metroid games were about a dangerous and famous bounty hunter, not some teenage girl who has an attitude and is vulnerable both physically and emotionally.

True,I mean I don't see why did they team up with Ninja theory...the series was way to epic,and it had huge popularity I don't see why they need to change everything,curse you Ninja Theory *intense laughter*

Exactly my point. No one likes change, especially gamers who grew up with a ertain perspective of a game character's qualities and who became fond of that character for those qualities.

I grew up playing The Legend of Zelda, and I've kind of become just like Link in nature, except the courage he possesses (Yes, call me a coward, I still am learning to stop flinching in a fight).

Like him, I am a do-gooder; like him, I am compassionate; like him, I go through various hardships; like him, I assist people without a grudge; like him, I stand up for what's right (don't we all, since we all have our own sense of right and wrong that differs from society's definition of right and wrong).

I heard a rumor that dmc 1 2 3(special edition) will be re released for xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in HD

It's true. They're bringing DMC3 to consoles, but it's still PlayStation 2 graphics with better resolution and a couple of improved things.
