as the ZEQ2 maps are supplied

maps of ZEQ2...

do like the ZEQ2 menu

Zay, Nello, and NikhilR. You've all been around long enough to know the distinction. You are talking about ZEQ2-Lite and NOT ZEQ2. Two different projects. It's like saying the Budokai series when you mean Legacy of Goku.

Get it right.

OH MY GOODNESS you know what we mean
its like saying Earth Special Forces and Earth Special Forces 1.2.3
were still talking about Earth Special Forces either way
and there is hardly any difference
one is more dedicated
different engine
the only thing dif is that it baisically a different name

The difference is one is a serious and selective study of the Dragon Ball Z Universe, and the other is a community-driven project.

Zay it's like saying "I am driving a car" but you mean "I am driving an airplane". Both are transports of some sort, but they are COMPLETELY different. And when Brad, Linkxp, or anyone tells you you are wrong on something, you should say "thank you for correcting me" or something similar.
Or another example:
You are walking on a street and you see a dog. Then you yell: "LOOK it's an snuffleupagus!! Then everyone would think that you need some professional help.

maybe if ZEQ2 actually was a public release people would be aware of the difference in both games

edit-I suggest making a page of the history/development on wiki

As far as I know, ZEQ2 wasn't meant to go public. The problem is people think ZEQ2 is a game. It's not a game, it's a scientific study. It wasn't meant to be played like any other game.

ZEQ2 is just easier to type, Laughing Laughing but for the most part, I've gotten correct right Mima?

It's true that most of us are just typing ZEQ or ZEQ2 because that's how we refer to it in our heads. We know what it means and we know we are talking about lite. But I guess you're right Mima that there are really two different things being named..

It's like approaching to a car and you know in your head that it's a car, but you say "What a nice elephant". Yes JayREEZY.

For the sake of avoiding further lectures concerning the subject, go the extra mile of typing the five more characters to sound more informed and less lazy.

People just don't like "light" versions.

Who drinks coke light? Only overweight lipid chicks who should be drinking water instead.

Maybe the wordfilter could jump there?

I know, but I think that people around here just don't want to do it because it takes just a bit more time.

Hogeta wrote : Maybe the wordfilter could jump there?

That's out of anyone's reach. Word filter is a being of it's own.

Well Mr. DISCIPLE That is the reason. For most of the community it simply takes a bit extra to include a (-) and the word (lite)

Mima The Disciple View user's profile Send private message

Reply with quote Friday, November 11, 2011

Well that's the main reason! Why does everyone think adding -lite will take 372183217 hours? It's really easy to say ZEQ2-Lite...

I know, and I know I can't do anything to change it, but then they have no right to say: ">.> you know I meant ZEQ2-Lite" when I/someone else corrects them.

Well unlike you or me... not everyone here is the best of typers. That could be another reason don't you think. *laughing out loud* is this really worth discussion?
