Ouch!
Thinking about giving your XP a little boost in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 by cheating? Think again!
According to Infinity Ward’s Creative Strategist, Robert Bowling, over 1,600 bans have been issued so far:
Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in #MW3 will not be tolerated. 1600+ bans issued. Updates in works. Please cont. to report offenders.
Bowling went on to explain how gamers can report cheaters:
There's a button in game after a match. Click on them in the lobby and it gives option to “View Gamercard” + “Report Player”
Think that Infinity Ward isn’t watching your every move when playing? Wrong!
stats are always recorded, we can verify and detect cheating without video proof.
How long a gamer is released depends on what they did:
Every high five unique to the level of douchiness of the offense. The greater the douche the greater the length.
Infinity Ward has the Banhammer ready, so no cheating!
