well guys .. this is the thread where the release versions of the great works of mastap15 ...
This is a tribute ..

I have perfected ..addon kings team .. added more special effects, making them unique addons ....

the first to be released in this series is TrunksFuture ...

contents..

upper and lower model, original by mastap 15..
retextured by me
appropriate shading
SVN head
more sounds (original voice and effects ) also for the skills.(burning attack and slash are amazing) Laughing

bonus outfit added ... like the amv (the history of Trunks...)

That's not appropriate shading at all.

The entire body upper and lower has the same shading! When are you going to learn this? :/ I'm disappointed.

That new outfit is kind of cool I guess.

is the same shading ... for the entire body only head have different shading..

No it's not the same.

Look at this.






See how dark the shadow on his pants is, how light the shadow on his hair is. You can't do this with all the same shading.

The shadow on his vest is a different blue than the base color.
The shadow on his skin is more red than the base color of his skin.


And for the Super Saiyan the shadows are even more contrasting and the base colors are entirely different and generally lighter than in normal, but the shadows darker.

So nello, learn to separate the mesh and reexport or get somebody who can do it in your place.

If you want to go with the less contrasting Super Saiyan version you have to give him the almost white Super Saiyan hair. The aura off state. I think this looks less interesting. And currently we can't support both version in one character.

Too much time? That's a bad excuse and you know it.

It really doesn't take that long to separate the different parts. You just have to know how to do it and that's the knowledge you're missing.

I have to agree with TRL though. If you want your addons to be the highest quality, separate shading is essential. Honestly, it takes maybe five to ten minutes at most for each model, assuming you are actually trying...

you're kind of right, that's not the right shading, but he can't do to much because the character is not in .max and we (ZEQ2-lite community) don't have the .bip of mastap's future Trunks... so... you can't do to much for this future Trunks (of course you can change all the shanding effect, but you can't put the right one for the hands/neck and the jacket/t-shirt)...

Ah I hadn't considered that yet Anty. But there should be a way to separate models too using misfit 3D.
If there someone who is able to find that solution it must be you.
See that's the reason why you should always include a max( or blender file in this case) when you release anything.

@guled: that's the thing. There is no support for that yet. It has to be coded, I've asked Brad for it already. I say use the most visually pleasing version for now, which is the aura on state, the hair looks better and the colors of the rest of the body are more different which makes for a more interesting transformation (more change). Also some Super Saiyan forms don't even have an aura off state anymore like Super Saiyan 3 for instance, his gi always looks yellow.

Yep, that's why I preferred Namek/Cell saga's style with their hair colour Smile Hopefully it will be done.

yes, you're right my friend, I know how do that in mmd3 but we have a little problem here... the character already was separated and merged in .md3 (for that reason there is a "tag_head.002" and "tag_torso.001") and if the character is already separated in .md3 you can't do it again because the character have to many vertices... because mmd3 don't delete vertices that program just hide the vertices... anyway I will post here a couple of pictures about how he will looks like with diferents shading effect for all the parts...

and yes, could be better if there is the .max and stuff like that for each character I have my releases in .max (jacket.max, arms.max, etc.) (I put it in that way because he don't have any bug when you merge all that in one same character, tags or shoulders bugs)...

LegendarySS4, What do you mean?, we are a community, we have to do it (all of us)...

TRL, yes, that's all we can do... its a shame because this Trunks is a great model and have the best aimations, anyway this is how looks if you separated the model and put different shading effect for each part:














like you can see Nello, the quality of this character (and all the others) change to much if you separate the model and put different shading effect... so... that way the characters looks much, much better then before...

tell me one thing you do this with Misfit Model 3D??

because I know that Misfit Model 3D can't add (create new groups)when body is animated...can merge...but sometime Misfit Model 3D can't save after.. because model have too many vertices or points.... so how you do this ? with 3dsmax or Misfit Model 3D?...
