So I downloaded Anty's separated cell saga Vegeta.
And I decided to give him personalized cellshade bands.
I came up with this.
There are conflicting refs about the actual color of his blue jump suit, but this color was used in the most of them.
His skin color was allover the place too, but generally it's kind of brownish, but not as much as in the Buu saga.

I see, the one from the right looks like the one from Brolly's movie (the first one), anyway you will work just in the textures?

Yes. Everything will be different for the Super Saiyan. Textures and cellshades.
Now Anty is working on the shader to support these differences.
Once everything is finished, I will make it available of course!

Here we have Super Vegeta.
I do have to tell you, that he looks only good from certain angles, and very dark from others.
Memo to Brad that he will have to code a way for all the three levels of celshading to show up on the model all the time. Like some sort of rim lighting.
Enjoy guys
A download link will come later.

I never understood why Vegeta's skin tone made a total shift on the anime when truning Super Saiyan. Shouldn't it just get a shade or two lighter than normal rather than a total change of hue?

Yeah this is my version of the desert. It's a little bit better color wise, but not much other changes.
No I'm not Italian.
And yes, it was ment to look exactly like Vegeta's first Super Saiyan appearance. But for it to look even more like this, we might need different hair (with less lines).
Anyway I'm glad you guys like it. For it to be playable I have to make the same changes to all the textures for the damage states, plus change all the shader for all the damage states too.
@Jayreezy: In Super Saiyan they are supposed to change from more asian types to total white guys with blond hair. That's why it's more redish.
edit: will somebody get cmpunk the frick out of here! total lacking in identifiable function waist of forum space. Get a brain!

Mima or domitjen, please clean this topic up.
All but one of cmpunk's post have been totally nonsensical without any regard of what actually is being talked about.
If you're not going to high five him, at least keep the forums clean of his spew!

Off-topic: That's why I voted to be a mod as well...
On-topic: You will have to do the same for the damaged states as well? Couldn't you just copy-paste it?

For the shader yes, but that's still a lot of pasting. Have you ever looked at how long the shader list is due to the damage states?
And no for the textures, they either have to be remade using a psd file of the blood and scratches I made or I have to make the same color edits on every damage state texture. I think the second will take the least amount of time, but it can cause slight color differences inbetween the different textures, because the method for editing colors isn't exact.

Most accurate Vegeta I've seen yet. Except for the fact that his model started as Raditz so it looks a bit muscular too in the legs and from what I can see, ( I could be wrong) But the shadow across the arms looks a bit less imprecise and more general as to where it covers.

Yeah I think the smoothing groups in the shoulders got a bit messed up due to Anty's editing, same for the armor straps.

I have a theory Bruno that I want to test out. If you are available lets talk this Thursday (because my exams will be nearly finished then so I'll have more time).
Postscript. It's actually not a theory, but just um... I would like to do some normal maps and get this baby to work all together. Wonder how he looks like in game and in real time all together. If you can try applying nvida normal converter(now - for tests) and try rendering it in game, since as far as I'm concerned Jens has finished GLSL in-game support. If you have problems ask Brad or Arnold.

as far as I'm concerned Jens has finished GLSL in-game support
It was never fully written/implemented as far as I am aware, but there is a patch job in the works to do just that.

For those of you who want to try it out. Here are the cellbands, textures, new shader and skin file.
Good luck discovering where everything goes! If you can't figure it out, ascend to the next level because you're too lacking to live. Or go to the chat and ask me. Always ask me (if I don't reply, keep spamming).
Anyway if somebody would be so kind to also edit the damage textures in the same way and update the cellband directories for the damaged states in the shader. I was going to do it, but then I didn't..
