Not to be that guy, but "Gotan"? One: sounds like a fusion of Goten and Gohan...Two: Is it pronounced GO-TAN like tanning salon or GO-TON like a baton? Does not sound that great as a name. But anyway, I like the character regardless, seems cool. From that picture I see him as a smart and serious character, kind of like Gohan but badass like Bardock.

It's actually not that bad. Though you should make the Super Saiyan eyebrows yellow and actually model the headband. The hair according to the "ref" looks kind of like Teen Gohan's so maybe you could swap Goku's hair with Gohan's.
