How can I create a server then get a friend to join?

Hi there! SupaTrunks here! I was just wondering if anyone can be oh so kind to help me out here!

I want to play alone with my friend! But HOW? I host a server and my brother can join! But how can my friend? (Yes Both Me and MY brother are in the same connection)

Any help would be great!
