look if you have no textures from official games then no need to worry and to be safe just switch hosts now after some times , that's how pirate sites stay safe

Maybe most of fan Dragon Ball Z games corrupted to isn't?
Remember, Bid for Power was originally a shooter game with no official anime content in-it.
Some homebrew modder added the Dragonball part because they realized its a good mod for the basics.
Since Bid for Power creators said 'its illegal to use parts of Dragonball, that's why we don't planning on use any parts of Dragonball Anime or Manga".
So that's why the modders made it.
If that's true, than most of fan games are corrupted since they won't ask the original creator(Toriyama sensei) about use their characters, and so that's why youtubers write down this to the Dragonball video descriptions 'I do not own any part of Dragonball Anime or Manga, Akira Toriyama does" or something like that..but that won't make it any more legal.
So unless YOU ARE Akira Toriyama the whole things is illegal no matter its free or for sale.

Yes, if people would not copy something from the original creator it would be like not letting the person who bought a recipe book look the recipes he wrote...

Dude what hole did you dig up that info from.

Bid For Power was a Dragon Ball Z modification from the get go. The story goes that they received a C&D order before their first release. So they changed the models, character names and released it like that.

Though it is quite a debate on the web regarding that specific C&D order. Some people think the Bid For Power team just had enough and called it quits by writing a fake C&D message while others think its legit.

But that's besides the point. Bid For Power was initially a Dragon Ball Z modification.

@RealDeal don't worry. As far as I know all the packs don't contain a single retail game model. Heck if they manage to put a model with so many polygons in to Half-Life, then they can make their own mod to ^^

The models are mostly rips from released Earth Special Forces models. So they don't really count for anything other than moral grounds.

Besides there is always a warning from the content holder that you are in violation of copyright laws before any other action is taken. So you have tome to remove what they say is illegal.

I do hope that Grega is right about the site being issued a warning. I don't know if they can spot the difference between an edited commercial game model (or texture) or an entirely different model (or texture), but if they do, it's best to make sure you remove the link until whatever assets are illegal can be replaced with appropriate subsitutes.

How to do this, you ask? Well, someone needs to download the pack, and make appropriate changes to exclude illegal files and create replacements from either edited ZEQ2-Lite assests, or models and/or textures made from scratch.

This could end up as a team effort (due to the fact that some people have little or no talent in one area than another) for those who want to preserve the packs. Once it is all done, create an archive and reupload it wherever they choose.
