that's wrong. There are a ton of people capable of offing Superman with next to no trouble in the comics.

Even with Supermans nearly lloyd like powers he's still no match for the top tier beings of the DC world.

*laughing out loud* I dislike that superman grega showed (and all of them :p), he always says something like this "I am about to use my super sneeze" or "Oh no! I destroyed a solar system with my sneeze!". Sounds kind of idiotic :S.

I just posted a picture from a comic where Superman destroys a solar system by simply sneezing.

Idiotic maybe. But its canon. It is superman.

Again it may not be the version you like, but it exists. And that's not even the most powerful version of him aether.

With Goku its simple. There is 1 Goku. With Superman it's not. You got your 50s Superman who can't even fly. You got your earth 1 superman that's probably the most known, since the movies are based on him and all the way to Earth 52. And each version is different. in strength and abilities.

So saying Goku wins against Superman or Superman beats Goku is all debatable. What version of Superman is that you are talking about?

I was talking about major characters , side characters or the ones with little back grounds do not count , if it was like that I could create a character with infinite powers , now would you call it the best ? super man is originally indestructible , justice league is a intellectually lacking -_- , even though in the last episode of justice league he reveals his true power (for the first time in justice league ) and over powers a villain he could not before ,

Even with Supermans nearly lloyd like powers he's still no match for the top tier beings of the DC world.

there is no dc universe hero that can over power super man from the original universe , in other universes he was massively down graded to get a balanced story along with other dc universe characters

and I'm talking about the ORIGINAL SUPER MAN
1: can survive intense heat ( including the sun )
2: unlimited power
3: super fast ( can spin around the world )
4: can survive in space
5: when near the sun can be practically indestructible

Out of all the DC comics characters I'd say Doomsday is the strongest.

For the 1 and only fact that you can't get rid of him. If you kill him, he will revive and mutate to prevent him being killed in the same way again.

He even evolved in to a form where he has an exoskeleton made out of kryptonite.

Also known as you may win the battle against him, but he will be back stronger than ever each time.

I don't know if you read the wiki or not , but I went through it all and it states that in the golden era super man was still there after a 1000 years passed and it also stated super mans powers greatly increases as he grows older , so that handles doomsday's immortality and increasing strength

I doubt that even 1 out of bunches and bunches people know this :S before making claims that krillin can beat super man

Hm..maybe Dragon Ball characters with dirty powers can beat Superman, the point is THEY ARE NOT Goku.

and as I said, maybe..

Like android 17 he is pretty strong. Even Super Saiyan 4 Goku can't beat him and he become stronger and stronger with beams and stoled energy(I bet he can use DR Gero's old technice).

Plus planet destroyers like Baby, Freeza, Cooler, Kidbuu, and Omega easily can destroy the whole planet and that explosion maybe kill Superman cause its a super big explosion..plus the death of planets makes black holes sometimes and that can vacuums Superman in. Or some character just throw Superman into a Black Hole.

Maybe a Kai, they can teleport everywhere.

Or Cell vacuums him and become stronger.

Or the lloyd of Dragon Ball Z universe kill him without move a finger. (No, not Akira sensei..)

Or that GT character split that steel thing and make Superman into a statue.

Or use Shenron to make him weaker or anything like that.

Or saiyans fuse to one person, or they gives all the power to Goku plus Goku make an universal Spirit Bomb and like in Dragon Ball Z Movie he absorb the whole Spirit Bomb and become ultra mega strong..

there's lot of way to beat Superman or Goku but since they are on the good side nonsense to make fictions whos the stronger, muscles didn't mean anything.

But one thing is clear, Superman is NOTHING against Xicor from Dragon Ball April Fools' and I know its a fictional series and blablabla but since he is a half lloyd half Saiyan and on normal level strong like a Super Mega Ultra Mega Hyper Xtreme (times two)..well.

The only way to actually hurt Superman is by using one of these 3:
- In a red sun environment (because he looses all his powers)
-Kryptonite
-Magic

Now forget the what ifs, or ill set AMAZO loose on the Dragon Ball Z characters. And this dude/robot has the power to remove an obstacle just by thinking. He shrugs off an attempt to stop him by the entire green lantern corps beating them, and moves Oah to a new dimension at the same time, while not even stopping. And its all over in less than a second. He then proceeds to go on and kicks the buttocks of the entire Justice League.

To top it off, he can copy the powers (strength, special abilities) of any opponent he so much as looks at. Downside is. He also copies their weaknesses. Hence why Batman was able to force him to retread with Kryptonite after he absorbed Superman.


As for the Doomsday thing. He doesn't necessarily grow stronger. He just gets rid of the weakness that cost him the victory.

So after winning a million times, heck just come back and you will not be able to beat him the same way as any of those million times. it's not his strength that makes him so powerful. it's the fact that while everyone has a weakness in the DC universe, he is the only one who evolves past those. And yes you could argue that the All star superman became immune to Kryptonite, but the All star superman was dying.

well Dragon Ball Z characters can destroy planets , but can they move them ? as you can see if the characters picture up a big rock of the size of a hill is considered to be amazing in the series but super man can originally move planets , you know how much power it takes to do that ? he can literally rip planets off the gravitational pull of their sun , he is also faster and can achieve the speed of light which is tons faster than any April Fools or Dragon Ball Z character

Superman is hardcore. that's his entire gimmick.
