I think you need to type this in console
/sv_master1 master.ioquake3.org heartbeat or put your server to local to see it.

Did you set up your server correctly? What exactly did you do to create the server?

Do you all have your ports unblocked or DMZ enabled?

If you create a server, it will ALWAYS be on local, since you are the host. Only the others will see it on the internet list.

if you had problem with server making why don't you read manuals on forum?

Zeth gave you a perfect 2 "solutions". I can add another one.. Is your firewall / Antivirus blocking the game?

I don't know what "do't" stands for, but he probably means he doesn't.

-Ted You do realize you don't have to sign every post you make with your name, right :p?

I do that on every forum I've been on.
But if it's really discomforting you, let me know and I'll stop.

It's not a bad thing, Ted, but it's somewhat redundant when your username is already on display next to your post. Signatures in posts/letters are typically done for when the author may not be specifically identified otherwise. Identification without necessity in some circles can come off as a bit egoist -- although not necessarily in this case.
