Break that gif down into individual png frames. Then use the animMap keyword in the shader for each frame.

At a glance, it looks about right. I don't know if animMap supports more than 8 frames right now. Baldwin DID up it to 2000 at one point, but I cannot say for certain on the current state with your version.

Show us the shader, the .grfx files, what model you are using, and the texures you are using for the attack.
Upload them in an archive here via attachment.
