Manga style hair is supposed to be closer to a cross of blonde and gold hair, but it looks too green ingame. But it's weird because sometimes Toriyama does make hair more yellow.

Yep, Spike can't keep their decisions.. they started Cel-shade then Glossy graphics then finally Manga style.
Need to make up their mind.

And even so, many things were wrong...that green Super Saiyan hair, the fact that Brolly doesn't have his green hair, some parts of Teen Gohan's clothing were supposed to be red instead of blue...so no, they only thing that was in manga style was the fact that they removed the gloss and added a big outline.
