Explain exactly what you mean in terms of specifics.
Quake 3 has a strong emphasis on brute force frags to win. ZEQ2 intended to stray from this dynamic, but the present mode[s] in ZEQ2-lite fail to fully realize this. Combat was intended to be based on play performance via superior strategy and interaction -- not simply a matter of who pops a cap in who first.

Well, as the game stands right now, it could be considered a combination of all kinds of modes. You could be role-playing, keeping a score of kills, deaths, assists, and the like, and you could even be racing or playing a sort of tag game.
Right now, all you need to do to create a deathmatch is a paper, pencil or pen, and several compliant players who can be trusted to be honest with their score. You could even make a team deathmatch. The only thing stopping you is using your imagination to make do with what you have at the moment. It's quite possible that there could be a deathmatch mode in the future, but coding is very necessary.
Then again, it probably couldn't compete with deathmatch-type games like Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, or games like Super Smash Brothers (my favorite. ) and Soul Calibur and Tekken.
