Do the different characters have different stats like attack, defense, stamina and ki? Or is there just one stats mechanism for all?
I thought about this, because to be true to the show, Raditz should start with a higher powerlevel than the others.

If you want Raditz start higher power level
Enter tier.cfg of Raditz and then add
powerLevelHudMultiplier (number of times)
for me , I have 1.25 power multiplier *laughing out loud*
And you could also look in Super Saiyan Goku folder and you can find the power stats
EDIT : YES Goku have a certain attack damage defense stats but Piccolo could have higher defense and lower attack

unfortunately they'll probably "balance" all the characters to make the game even for everyone...(ughh)
But if they want to make it true to Dragon Ball Z they SHOULD have different starting powerlevels stats attributes and such (sorry if I sound demanding) I'm just stating my honest opinion don't take it personally I just dislike when people try to "balance" Dragon Ball Z games. In that respect no Dragon Ball Z game will ever be accurate.[/b]

hmmm interesting. Someone from the team, which stats are there? Does your speed increase with powerlevel, because I never really noticed a speed increase.

Yes the speed increase with the power level but you could enter in the tier.cfg tierspeed "number"

Not for their starting tier at the moment, but that was only because we did our initial testing with upper level tiers. This will be fixed in future versions.
Yes, Raditz is supposed to have a starting power level as well as more mêlée aptitude.

Why would we do that? Did you follow the original ZEQ2 project at all? Dragon Ball Z is naturally balanced from it's raw mechanics. There is no need to try and go beyond that by "equalizing" the statistics.
Will Kid Buu [Buu Saga] demolish Nappa [Saiyan Saga]? In all likeliness, of course. It's simply a matter of asking why such saga differences would be fighting one another.

If I remember correctly at the moment, yes, your speed is based on your currently set power level. This applies also for your zanzoken distance/speed as well.

I thought so, the real min and max power level stays the same right. Because I was wondering how that worked with me fighting people who had all these Super Saiyan transformations and the logically huge powerlevels, without me having those addons.

Jup, it only shows like 2.017.367.134.346.134 as in a HUUGEE powerlevel but it still is 32767 I think

This is actually a trick to still let us only send an array of short ints over the network rather than long. The power level multiplier WILL still give a noticeable power difference feel as long as you also boost their mêlée/energy attack/defense and overall speed scale.
