Beenox announced a new spiderman game called ultimate spiderman (another ultimate spiderma) it will be a prequel from the original ultimate spiderman which was released a few years ago for pc xbox gamecube PlayStation 2 and other consoles

like my ff 7 thread I keep this one updated

currently no pictures only announced!

-Josh Keaton will be voice the peter parker again
- prequel from the older ultimate spiderman (with miles, norman osborn , hobgoblin) and more villains
- venom is in the game again of course in the comic he was the head boss
-comic grafiks again
- will be on same engine as the amazing spiderman
-deadpool game will have a crossover with ultimate spiderman

activision is developer it was announced on the gamescom 2012
also announced on the deadpool game will be some crossover with spiderman which same scenes will appear on the newer game

and for realdeal you should try the amazing spiderman on pc its awesome you can play 2 black suits *intense laughter* the classic one from the movie odler spiderman 3 movie and the newer one designed by marc webb for future trilogy

I still think SM2 for PlayStation 2 is the best Spiderman game so far.

edit you can get both the classic suit from spiderman movie and the black suit from spiderman 3

+ the newer black suit from marc webb which will be use in the trilogy from the movies the amazing spiderman

I'm pretty sure the "classic" suit was a DLC exclusive or something. And it's still unknown how to unlock some suits for PC, like Big Time.

Where did you get that information again? Because as far as I know it's non-canon and made for the game. I doubt the new black suit (if there's one) will look like that.

I got all suits but not the 100% black suit you get the classic suit by buying the pc version from market

its easy to get suit

for
cross species spiderman suit: finish game at any difficult mode

black suit(spiderman 3= : beat s-02 after oscorp archives mission

scarlet spiderman(ben reily): help al infected and mental patients at freeroam

future foundation suit : finish all car and helicopter missions

negative zone suit : finish all oscorp secret lab and all sewer missions and find 700 comis

big time suit: fotograph all enemys which withney chang needs (she will tell you which enemys she needs right after you're at chapter 13)

happy birthday spiderman hat ( event on steam xbox live and psn) you get it automatically at August

100% NEW black suit finish the game at any difficult help all infected and mental patiens finish all missions get all hidden items in each mission find all snipers at freeroam fotograph every enemy
and find all comics

currently I just need the 100% new black suit do I did a very big mistake killing all snipers at freeroam and forgot to fotograph and I also need the big time suit because don't have 100% fotos

+ info if you buy the game at market you get the dlc code neither for classic normal suit or playing as stan lee

Everything looks so grey in these "next gen" games.
When are they going to discover that shadows are not color + grey. It's color + dark blue because of ambient lighting from the sky.

Scene ambient lighting IS being done in many games (usually approximated via a quick cubemap lookup).

As we approach the era where realtime global illumination techniques like indirect lighting, color bleeding, and so forth become prevalent, you can expect to see scene light influence becoming more naturally occurring.

Well yeah but there is also the color bleeding of the sun's light which you mentioned. Which must be why the ambient lighting alone doesn't convince me. It's actually amazing to think how much more lifelike graphics can still get. There's still a huuuge curve and we haven't even scratched the surface yet. The uncanny valley is still far off.

To me... Web of Shadows was the best. You could swing anyway you want... and you can stay on the building to look around or wait for the attacker to do something before your next move. Most strategic to me. Can go from black suit to regular suit.
Different type of powers for each as well:
Tentacles for black suit.
More webs for the regular.

They also had a pretty sweet story line!
The symbiote spreads across New York City just like Prototype!= Still thinks they... took the plot.
He goes against wolverine:symbiote and regular
black cat
It amazing!
You can be either good or bad. Can take the villains you defeated and make them your Allie against the symbiotes!
They have Rhino, The vulture,... Haven't played it in a while I think there is two more...
Oh black cat!

But yeah its sweet.
You can also go slow mo when a car blows up so you can save the citizen from falling...
You can either put them in a web para shoot or you can swing and catch them... Just fantastic to me.

I think TASM is a good hybrid, it has free roam and pretty good 100% linear scenarios.

There are some flaws like lack of action in free roam (beating thugs and some robots every now and then), but it's overall good.

WoS was a good idea, you can quickly switch suits in-game and both of them have unique features. The storyline was interesting as well and being able to pick sides is always a good thing. However it was repetitive, they focused way too much on that air-web-attack thingy and although it's free roam it became boring since there's nothing interesting to do. Also, the PC version was a terrible port.

Still, WoS 2 would have been great if they fixed all this stuff.
