I downloaded and tried ZEQ2 revolution 5 and is really awesome!!!, but I have a question, is there a way to add some working bots during a game in ZEQ2 rev 5?

Or is there a good mod for ZEQ2 that allows me to use bot?

If not....the developers will add bots in future releases?

Thank you for your Answers!

There are no working bots currently. The developers do not exist as a team. Razz All of the community are potential developers.
Some bots have been created in the past, but they aren't nearly as advanced as this sandbox would require. Nobody is currently working on getting bots better (except for Franco and Norman (although I'm not sure about either of them)). Bots weren't even planned, so don't get your hopes up. Razz

In the future I won't help anyone who says ZEQ2 instead of ZEQ2 Lite. They are two completely different project. You have never played ZEQ2.

You must know that they never found the original, and if no one knows of an original, they think that both labels describe the same project.

You just have to be patient. Once any person has a certain perspective, it takes time to change it. Why do you think these forums have such lenient guidelines? They aren't meant to force you to comply, they are just as they say, GUIDELINES, meaning advice, and rules describing appropriate behavior.

Besides, haven't you ever wanted a second, third, or even 50th chance and been denied? It doesn't feel good when you are denied information when one is already ignorant enough about the project and its predecessors.

If one is unable to find the "About" page to be informed about what ZEQ2 is and what Lite is, they could still spend 5, as in five minutes searching the forums. Me being more patient with uninformed people is, in the end, less useful than these people looking at the information that's literally a minute away from them.

EDIT: "The original ZEQ2 project was initially started in late 2002 originally as a highly scripted modification of the Bid For Power mod. Over time, it became more about striving for accuracy from the original television series over any other aspect.

After several growth revisions from package, mod, total conversion, to a standalone project using the open-sourced Quake 3 engine (in 2005), a majority of the development staff branched and began to create an original development engine with the purpose of creating an even higher quality representation by using advanced NPR research techniques and modern rendering techniques. The original ZEQ2 project was put on hold indefinitely as development of said engine became more and more time-consuming and of a higher priority.

However, in early April 2009, two of the orignal developers from the Quake III version of ZEQ2 decided to polish up what was left of the old project and release it so that years of development didn’t go to waste. We find ourselves here today with ZEQ2-lite, a less hardcore albeit quality-driven version of the original project."

First, I highly doubt anyone of low skill in computers and a more childhood-oriented love for the show would care to look for the difference.

Second, this difference between ZEQ2 and ZEQ2-Lite should only really be acknowledged by the more active and longtime members of the forums. I can't understand why you compare productive community members and casual gamers.

That's like trying to compare science and art: Scientists always want to discover new things, while artists want to find uses for old things.

Likewise, casual gamers aren't going to spend a considerable amount of time learning different concepts, while developers here will follow the examples of senior members to gain skills in computer gaming development. And that requires that they know how such development has progressed and how things can be achieved with one engine but cannot be achieved in another.

Another factor might be that this project in itself isn't well known, so how will they know of another project with a similar name?

As far as I know this project is not for casual gamers or people too lazy to click their mouse ONCE to learn everything about the project.
