Not to mention that all what you mentioned are still same category as every other music.
If you really want to make differences between music then you have symphonies + some custom musical tracks and that music what we all know about (as you said above example)

Picking musicians from the 70-80s that are well known for defining "classics" hardly makes them any more qualified as 'music'. Lyrics in music (in general) are by nature flawed for their shallow referential nature and basic lack of abstraction. Just because the populus en masse compose (often superficial) connections to vague context in their own unrelated lives hardly adds measure of depth.
The core principle idea of quality in music is the MUSIC itself -- melodic composition, instrument usage, flow, variety, progression, etc. Strip away spoken word. What remains is what you must quantify respectively in the sense of music.
Attempting to grade lyrical constructions, while wholly possible, will only lead you down a road of subjectivity spattered with confliction due to ability (or inability) for the listener to create the illusion of relativity.
