While it's EXTREMELY old news, Diablo 2 is a great game indeed 
Although I've bought Diablo 3 so I rather play that

because you can't play it without internet
and you should better buy Titan Quest or get back to
diablo 2!!!

Yepp you only need to buy it once.
Plus nowadays everybody has internet connection, even my dog..even if I don't have a dog.
