Guys I wanted to ask you when we record our gameplay in ZEQ2 Lite with:

/record
/stoprecord

We get a new folder called demos and our gameplay is in that folder and the file type is dm_75. Now what I wanted to ask is can I somehow convert it? I was trying to record my gameplay with fraps but it want record how long I want it just stops when it wants so I want to record with those codes but I can't open the file to play it in Windows media player, Bread and Spaghetti player etc.

If someone can help me I wold appreciate it Very Happy

EDIT: what the heck Bread and Spaghetti player? Laughing

you can play it only in ZEQ2 by doing this:
/Demo (Name of recorded video)example /demo demo0001

Play the demo with the /demo command, and after it starts playing, use the /video command. It will drop your frame rate drastically, but it will create a great video nonetheless.

okay in training server Alf made a super cheat
I won't tell you guys how but I'll show you the video
of it,so I will give you download of the file called
supercheat.dm_75
Then you must put it in folder Demos(if there is no demo
create it) and get in game(ZEQ2 revision 1536)
and write this /demo supercheat
then it will play and then you'll see super cheat
now about the file here:

It's not a virus. Kakarot is being silly. /video will work just fine.

Alternatively, you can check out one of these two guides :
Recording/Capturing Videos with Quake 3 - Guide A
Recording/Capturing Videos with Quake 3 - Guide B

Both of these make usage of the cl_aviDemo command (which lets you throttle the capture rate). You also might want to have a look at ioQuake3's cl_aviMotionJpeg codec option -- which should exist in ZEQ2-lite.
