So which one do you like more? FUNi Dub or Ocean Dub?

definitely FUNimation. The Ocean Dub hurt my ears. Vegeta's voice was terrible and Goju's voice seemed to trail off all the time. I hated Ocean and always will. Oh and Gohan sounds like a chick whereas FUNi is played by a girl BUT sounds like a teenage guy Smile

If you say Japanese you're not answering the question. It's either FUNi or Ocean.

Funimation voices. Especially Faulconer/Morgan music. Ocean had some interesting voices, but Funimation eventually refined the process (although the last re-release lacked energy on some parts).

The Japanese voices aren't that bad, but they do lack tone/pitch variety in comparison to the English ones (namely because most of the 'bad-arse strongest fighters in the universe' were voice acted by high-pitched women).

Japanese music would have been fine if the series was a 1970's live-action drama show like CHiPS, but otherwise it was out of sync with both similar music in that decade of production overall as well as with the intense and epic style of the show.
