Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online (ドラゴンクエストX 目覚めし五つの種族 オンライン Doragon Kuesuto Ten: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Onrain?, lit. "Dragon Quest X: Rise of the five Tribes Online") is an MMORPG developed and published by Square Enix for the Wii and Wii you video game consoles. It is the tenth installment in the acclaimed Dragon Quest series. It has been called "the highest profile third-party release ever announced for the platform" by Nintendo Power.[4] Windows version will be released on September 26, 2013 in Japan.
Generally praised by reviewers upon release, sales put the Wii version of the game as a top ten selling game in Japan in 2012. No announcements have been made of an international release.

Classic Dragon Warrior dialog boxes and enemies offer super nostalgic appeal, but I'm sure this follows the same grindy level/equipment based gameplay and trivial non-world-impact quests/goals as all other MMORPGs. The genre itself should have been reworked from day one to involve more player skill/involvement and less emphasis on character statistics.
