It ended quite a while ago.
The premisse was great, but as far as the anime goes, it has a lot of unused potential and a rushed ending. Probably didn't get the rates they thought it would.

Well in case you are interested. As far as my info goes, they are going to continue Fairy Tail starting this year. Not sure when exactly though. But apperantly its round end spring or start summer.
