It's gotta be character creation. That's the same character they made when they were showing off Ultimate Tenkaichi. He's called "Bandai". If it's anything like Dragon Ball Online, the hero must be made by the player. We can't all possibly look like that.

Hmm.. I just rewatched Battle of Lloyds, and I remember Shenron saying something about the first Super Saiyan lloyd. What if this character is the first! Sure I'm just guessing, but he does have red hair like Goku did.

I'm not sure, he has Gohan head, red hairs (but still not ssjgod right color), and the most important part, clothes from earth (future Trunks jacket). I think he is like hero from UT, just an invented character for showing characters customisation. And showing a what if character on all the sagas' battles seems to confirm all. You can use your own character for the story mod.
Will this be like a mix of boz and ut ?

I'm really digging the graphics so far. Most anime like kamehameha I've seen so far. This is supposedly being developed by dimps which is intriguing. They've always sworn with 2D combat, I wonder how their version of tenkaichi will play.
The red hair Trunks guy kind of makes me "angry". Well not really because I stopped caring and playing these games a long time ago. But I'd rather they not include a character creation feature if they're going to do it so utterly halfassed. At least copy the Dragon Ball Online character creation if you're going to do it. They already copied the time patrol Trunks anyway.
Well doesn't really matter because I'm not going to play this anyway, it's just really lazy.

Look as long as Dimps is involved, I'm sure the game will be great. The game looks faster paced and less wonky than the Tenkaichi and Raging Blast games. Also, the visuals are the closest we got to the anime since Budokai 3, this looks promising.
Also, a fresh (courtesy of Dragon Ball Online) story mode with existing story elements.
