Nice model you got there.

There seem to be a lot of proportion issues at first sight though.
-the red spots should be round from every view.
-make the feet connected to the body (animation purpose) and they could be done in like 4-6 polies.
-his arms are generally longer and the shoulders look like they're not that animatable, would easily stretch.
-the forehead curving could use some work too along with his mouth nose area, it should look less like a bird beak, so include more rounded cheek definitions into it.

Overall I'd say you modeled this after the earlier lipid mouse designs of pikachu.
Where as I would go with the more lean anime design.

For facial expressions he would need a mouth too.

If you can fix these, we might have to ask you to contribute the model.
