At present, as far as I know, there is no export plugin for anything after 2011.
This is partly because of how old the format is, very few people actually use/support it anymore.
Pop 'N Fresh's plugin is what I generally use(Google it and it should pop up), but it only works in 3DS Max 2011, 2010, and lower versions.
If you can get one of those older versions of Max you can simply export your 2014 file as an .fbx file and set its version to 2011, and it should let you import it into 3DS Max 2011, maybe fix up some rigging issues that might occur, add the tags, then export from there as an .md3, and finally load it in Misfit Model 3D and resave it to correct export issues from the Max plugin. (Assuming 2014 still supports the 2011 version, otherwise you can export it to the earliest version, then load it in that version of max, then re-export and repeat until you can get it into 2011.)
