Nah they're just doing that so you wanna watch it to see what happens, but that's just my opinion.

horrible style this new.. so now Goku has Trunks boots colored blue.. what the heck is that symbol..have entrusted this work to the incompetent. are ruining a legendary image as was to dragonball in the 80 and 90 years.. by the battle of the Lloyds already vacuums this goes far beyond ... in a while we see Naruto in Dragonball movies, why do not they bring even Pokemon in?? but please .. new generations are ruining everything.

I think the designs for Vegeta and Goku look fine.
Just Frieza is a little unimaginative, not what we would expect from a great designer like Toriyama. Then again he doesn't want to do what we expect.

Don't be such a downer Nello. New generation ruins everything makes you sound old.
I have a feeling the movies will be a trilogy and at the end, the arc will have some added value to the dragonball z franchise.

Makes me wonder how people reacted the first time Toriyama brought frieza back from the dead. Wouldn't they also have been like: "yo toriyama you already did this with tao paipai..."
I sometimes wish I could've enjoyed Dragon Ball Z while it was still coming out. I was spoiled about cell, androids, fusions and Buu way before I ever saw those arcs.

It's been rumored that Whis is training Goku and Vegeta to use lloyd Ki and not their normal Saiyan Ki (Super Saiyan lloyd Goku was just his base Form with lloyd Ki, he can use his lloyd Ki to go Super Saiyan and instead of having Yellow Hair he's going to have blue hair)
