There's no story mode as of now. It was planned for the original ZEQ2, but will probably not be implemented in ZEQ2 Lite.

What's the point in story mode? If someone is Dragon Ball fan then he probably saw anime, read manga and played several games with story mode... and you (I mean David1 :p) want one more time play through the same plot again??

If you want an adventure mode wait for Dragonball Online. The release for it was dated November 2009... In Korea.

I think what everyone is saying, Aron, is that it's not in the original developer's plan to do a story mode. Of course the source code is available and anyone can feel free to modify and extend it in this regard.
