I have modified the textures of Super Saiyan hair and Super Saiyan 2 hair and this is what I get:(from Nemix and shenglove work)
I have noticed that Super Saiyan hair is lighter than Super Saiyan 2 then I gave Super Saiyan yellow color and Super Saiyan 2 golden color
Its a 2 minutes job but its really useful 
And compare the icons too

The shine is done with the game shaders not by the sprite but it gives me that:

The accurate coloration of the Super Saiyan hairs actually depends on sagas. Check out the hair color right when Goku first when Super Saiyan compared to when he did it in the Android Saga or furthermore in the Buu saga.

Yeah and in the cyborg cooler movie the Super Saiyan's are all very dark yellow.
by the way it's always bright if they don't have an aura. It gets dark yellow when an aura is on.

Yeah I have also seen that TRL and I have thinked for a way to change the color of the aura to make it turn the Super Saiyan hair color in golden when using it 
By the way do you have seen your Trunks avatar hair color ? or Nemix' 72 avatars super Saiyans hair color like Gohan or Vegeta ? I think there is an aura color that make this hair dark golden still now to find it
and we get a point in the game accuracy

Then I think the best way is to replace emblem Goku Super Saiyan (who never went Super Saiyan in this emblem) with a shirtless Super Saiyan Goku with golden hair...
