Would you mind giving some more information? Just saying "it runs slow" is not enough for anyone to help you to any extent.

For a start, what computer are you running it on? And by that I mean what processor, memory and graphics card does it have and what operating system are you running it on?

I didn't say ATI cards don't work, I said that if the problem is exactly as Konan suggested then such a fix as trying a optimized ATI graphics driver will only work if he has an ATI graphics card. If he doesn't have an ATI graphics card then installing that driver would do far more harm than good.

First, we need to know your system specifications.
It's simple : Just run dxdiag , then make a picture of it.
If it doesn't work on the normal way, try doing dxdiag on cmd.
Examples :

Of course, ZEQ2 runs perfect on mine.
It just Depends on what graphic card he has.
Just for example :
An HD4870.(Runs Perfect on ZEQ2 and other games)
Or Just take an GTX850. (I don't really know the name anymore)

tell you're proosessor speed , ram graphics and stuff , then only we can judge or install windows xp,

duei have tested ZEQ2 with , 450mhz Pentium 3 wit 256mb ram and 32mb graphics and it runs on full settings
