Can anyone tell us how to do a animated HUD?Or tell us where the shader for the HUD is?

Come to find out the current hud is actually just referencing the image file directly, NOT a shader. Therefore you'd need to modify the source code a bit to get it to use a shader. It's not difficult, but it may be easier to just wait a bit for the next release.

Well I'll be. Could you code in emotion related icons as well while you at it? I would be more than happy to draw up some custom angry and pain emotions for the characters.
Reminds me of the time I tried designing the ZEQ2 hud and was going to implement that. It was a circular hud system. kind of like how Raging blast does it now.

I think the main objective is to get a change when the bar gets max or is drained, not all the time.
And I think it can't be done with an animated gif.

Why? Because someone draw it like that? Is not official and oif he likes white eyes, he'll have white eyes.
I also though Super SaiyanΓΏ5 had silver eyes, and that doesn't make it official.

If it was from one of the old HUD contests, probably somewhere backed up.
animated hud = animated gif
Actually, animated hud != animated gif. Quake 3 does not support gif format. To do an animated effect of any kind in a shader/material file, you have to specify the images one by one in a sequence. JPG, PNG, TGA, BMP, etc. work fine there.

No. If he got it backed up somewhere. He could give it to me and I could give it too you. It' lacking in identifiable function for ZEQ2 though. I don't think the health bar can go in a circular way.
