Wednesday, June 27, 2007Thx a lot, I would try that, the version with Trunks?? a very old one? This is not that one with the cell shading effects? |

Wednesday, June 27, 2007Last I saw SoS did not use a celshading technique. They do use an outline technique though to outline the models. That may be what you're confusing with celshading.

Thursday, June 28, 2007The released Alpha (it wasn't a beta) was hardly very playable and had hardly anything implemented. It was more of just a test that UniSol released, he was going to release a more featureful version with some actual attacks but he disappeared again.

Saturday, June 30, 2007SOS is dead, I used to work on it and also know the head guy who started it. |

Saturday, June 30, 2007Which head guy? Depends on which time period or SOS saga you're referring to. SOS is very old -- probably one of the oldest DBZ mods still in "active" development. Although I can't be sure of facts given from fanatics that muck about, when I joined the community around 2002-2003, I was told that they had been around 5-6 years already.

Saturday, June 30, 2007Sputter's still active on quakesrc occasionally, but even if he's stopped work on it, haven't people learnt that SoS doesn't die, it just hibernates. Give it six months and another former team member will start it again

Saturday, June 30, 2007You forgot the very first leader of SoS. He said he was older than he really was, turned out he was like 14 or 15 or something. Trying to remember his name..Started with a C I think..Their very first webpage was hosted on geoshities or yahoo (can't remember if they were the same thing back then). |
