Hi everyone, I suppose a lot of you will remember this from the old boards and of course if you enter IRC on the odd ocassion.
Basically I am reviving the old AOK games however, this time we shall record the data for leagues, in this case I propose 3 (keep it simple n fun).
All games shall be run at :-
Speed:- Normal
Map Size:- Large
Terrain:- Random
Game Type:- Normal AOK (NOT EXPANSION)
League 1:- One vs One (standard deathmatch)
League 2:- Team vs Team (numbers can vary)
League 3:- Random Match (any team structure any settings, note these matches may be biased and differ from the general league rules).
A league table can be found attached to this thread, hopefully Zeth won't kill me to much for attaching his logo onto it  , but I figured this was your idea anyhow so hehe *laughing out loud*.
Anyhow there shall be 3 league tables corresponding to the match types.
Stats will only be added to the league table with proof of a end game statistic chart or a map replay.

To anyone who hijacks this thread moaning about a AOK please refer to the thread on the sos boards regarding "things vox would like you to die for".
Good Gaming all and I hope this time we can agree on this very simple and fair set of rules *laughing out loud*.

how can people actually enjoy that?you build your nice little town for 2 hours just to get it smashed by some war elefants.....yeah I sucked at it but still its so dmit slow paced....
A round w3 with the Forum would be fun though.

I could do warcraft 3 sometime. Never got that great at it, but I could try.
how can people actually enjoy that?you build your nice little town for 2 hours just to get it smashed by some war elefants.....yeah I sucked at it but still its so dmit slow paced....
2 hours? Who were you playing? Unless everyone wants a nice kicked-back relaxing game to build up uber empires before attacking, they were toying with you, or pretty much were inexperienced then I doubt a 2 hour game would exist.
I can make a clean castle age kill in 20 min. Thats game time. On fast speed we are talking 8-12 minutes real time. This all depends on how much of a struggle the enemy puts up, if he/she's a runner, and how skilled they may be to counter.
Naturally though, the game is quite fast paced -- yet allows for a relaxed atmosphere if need be. Its still number one of ALL real time strategies on my list. No other RTS has topped its balance, unit count, and graphic style identity.

Oh heck no you got me wrong there,not normal w3 ^^(could shot myself just thinking about it....tft ruined the game for me).Im speaking of funmaps(dota included he ^^).

I do not believe belgium was established this far in the past. There is the civilization "Teutons" which are composed of many Germanic nations (most likely pre-Belgium)

wait a sec this is with the normal version right? I tought it was for the expansion. In that case I'm game but not with the 1 on 1 leaugue that's too dull. I'll gladly join the Netherlands team, since we used to be a part of them.
