Make sure to check out the updated post in the ABOUT thread in the progress forum! It can be easy to miss for those that read over things a little too quick

My jaw dropped when reading the about document. It's so simple, while so genius. Sounds too good to be possible to implement even.

well done!
the concept is too close enought to the series
I was wondering...
with manual sense goku can use instant transmission to get closer to an especif energy
this should be fun to do when you sense some great energy from someone who ascends to a ss3
but I think that this isn't too easy to implement.. or it is?
Edit: Just remebered the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi (Playstation 2)
theres a sensing system...

Well, he had to find an energy-source in the first place to IT to, so it would be implemented I think.
And I have the feeling that its not too hard to implement that kind of things actually.

Too bad for them there won't be any fragging (unless your REALLY insanely powerful and charge up an attack for quite a while, then pounce on an unsuspecting low power level player and throw the attack into his face )

That's what we got BFP for
I didn't quite understand how the PIP stuff works... my English isn't too well today . I think I figured now though. Basically when something happens you see a picture of your character in a part of your screen saying .. what the heck?.
Won't that be too repetitive? If you enter Piccolo's range for the 10th time watching that same PIP thingey again will be discomforting.

sounds very logical like the series...
must be strong to kill with one hit
the maps will be huge
and the recomendation is up to 8 players in a map
sensing will be necessary and pretty cool!

Havn't you read the first paragraph in the about section yet? Note the words in bold:
ZEQ is formulated from dragonball[Z][E]nters[Q]uake. ZEQ2 is a Quake 3 driven strategic fighting Dragon Ball Z based experience. The game is built on a passion for accuracy and mimicry towards the original concept at a level unheard of in any game in existence. With graphics and gameplay alike, even the most trivial details have been preserved and escalated by unique, yet accurate methods.
Ok, I see people are still confused by how the PIP will work, check out the raditz and piccolo example in the about section again.

Sorry to disappoint you but fragging and "strategic fighting" doesnt have to exclude eachother.
In fact in most games you won't obtain a kill without any kind of strategic combat *looks at BF2*.
The more I hear about the new ZEQ2 the more I doubt it will appeal to many people.
Well we will see about that.
Maybe we just have different definitions of fragging.
@Forza:
You compare the more than dull BFP with what ZEQ seems to become?isn't that an insult for the team members?^_-

In more than one way, being compared to the original BFP team is quite complementary. It seems to me as if Forza wasn't making a general comparsion, if you actually read the progress threads you'll discover that ZeQ2 sounds nothing like BFP.

Compare ZeQ to the today BFP(not the team nor what they archieved back than, the game that we have today)
is more or less an insult in my point of view.
And for me it seemed so cause if you say "for that we have BFP" it compares both game systems.
And don't tell me that,I didnt compare them at all.
