Many Roshi Island maps have the problem they're too small, is there enough space around the island for a good fight on this one? I can't really tell from the provided pictures.
The interior of the house is pretty accurate, although I miss the pr0n

*laughing out loud*.. Don't be silly.. DBZHood's map has very good likeness but this is even better.. Bright?? It's cell shaded, DBZHood isn't. Empty??? Lets not forget this map is a house in the middle of the sea.. Obviously your using DBZHood's Kame map to judge this one, don't.
Looks awesome everything nicely detailed looking true to the show everything seems to be the right size, just looking at Roshi's living room seems someone took the time to find out the proper dimensions or had an educated guess at them, nicely done. Great works guys, and as true to the show as ever.

A good map indeed, even the details inside the house are amazing.
I hope the map will be big, which I think it will.

I don't think it was close to roshi's island.
In my manga DB books there is a little view just to see what around roshi's island, which is mainly sea.

It wasn't really close. But Master Roshi could see the explosions of the fight.
[Edit:] ^Never mind.^

The islands wern't that far away, if you stood on Roshi's island and looked out you'd see the islands, just like you do in the ep where Piccolo fights A17. You can see those islands on the horizon from the Kame House.
Found this, idk how good of a ref it is, or where they got it from looks familiar though.. Gives you a rough idea at the very least.

Hehe. You have no idea...
I've seen that before: In DBZ Legend of the Saiyans. I guess it's pretty accurate.
The map references are more or less manga-based and there are A TON of versions out there that would let someone recreate the entire DBZ earth in a semi-accurate manner, if desired. DB Unlimited had one of the most detailed maps with each subsection broken down in incredible detail -- sadly the site is down right now
Even by the maps standards though, you have to realize how far away a millimeter is in terms of cartography. In all series logic, Roshi's island is at LEAST several miles from any other land masses.

I fear that isn't really possible, at least not a physical splash. With the right explosion shaders they could do the trick probably... a splashing effect. Making waves and such is pretty much improbable.

improbable? My friend, that word doesn't exist in our vocabulary (or at least mine).
WhackyWater3.jpg

How could we call ourselves accurate without this?
WaterDivide.jpg

The series has water divides, thus... the rest is history.
