hehe. Loving it, except a few details...
First: The fingers look rather flat on his left hand.
Second: His skin looks wrinkled.
Third: What's with the hand clipping into the armband on his right hand?
Fourth: Looks like someone took a bite off Goku's left foot.
Other than that, it's fine

Although ZEQ2 is based soley from the DBZ series, our presented media typically uses posters and other promotional official art for the purposes of conveying likeness and relation. As a result of such, the awkwardness of the particular pose should be in full regard to the original references used. Essentially, don't blame us because Goku can apparently dislocate his wrists.

Hehe. This thread is about the actual stylistic line technique, not the work in progress Goku mesh shortcomings. These are reasons why we typically don't post or let users comment on work in progress media.

Yeah guys, read the features before posting questions or crits.
Mainly the fact that it's WIP in all aspects should answer everything and we are well aware of the flaws it may have
But this discussion is about the outlines styles, so lets focus on that

That last one really looks like a drawing. Great that you achieved this effect. Don't have much critics on it.

I aggree with forza. I love the effect. Mainly because the lines don't look so harsh in the last one.
Now I was wondering, are you able to give the outlines a colour? If so I think I would look even better if you would colour the lines on his body a slightly darker colour of the part it is on and you leave the real outlines black. Basically like you did with the textured version of the model.
Hope I'm making some sense here.

We can control color, length, roughness, add spatulation -- you name it.
As far as the color choices in this update go, they did not take into account many factors that the series does (such as distance posterization). We're trying to keep each update focused on the particular effect at hand without crossing into other subject areas too drastically. On that note you can be sure that the final ingame image will look much more precise and accurate when compared to it's series base.

I wouldn't have expected any less.
by the way I love the pose! I instantly thougth of the picture it was recreated from. I hope there will be some up to par animations to go along with it.
Who made the pose by the way?
