It's just ZEQ, not ZEQ1. Unless, of course you change the name of all games once a sequel is available. Did Tetris become Tetris 1 after Tetris 2 released? Did Super Mario Brothers become Super Mario Brothers 1 after Super Mario Brothers 2 released? Did Halo become Halo 1 after Halo 2 released?
It's simply ZEQ. Hehe. Aside from the naming scheme, it's basically just a BFP-esque package as it does use the BFP qvms and mostly fan-produced or Rodney Olmos models. A lot of the effects and attacks were heavily tweaked and each character did have a completely unique unshared attack-set, but mostly it was an experimental edit I did -- like Azurite mentioned. It did bear some fruits, of course, as ZEQ2 rose up from where it ended.

I have a problem:(
I 've dl ZEQ and installed it ,but when I run the game it says this User Interface is version 4, expected 3 .
Can someone please help me

I run the game and the screen turns black then gray then the quake 3 console appears and this message pops-up

hmm... if you got pointrelease 1.32 try 1.31... if that won't work I'm not sure what will.
Google might help.

Thats using the quake 3 engine isn't it? I had that problem of having a black screen but that was on like an ancient laptop I had maybe its your pc specs...

Yes, you need to try an earlier version of Quake3, the latest version has issues with a lot of mods. I think 1.27 or 1.28 will work with it?
