The bleach manga has been superb lately. The anime mainly went down hill because of the gooey insides, which, surprise surprise, never happened in the manga! While the manga certainly holds true to standard shonen manga archetypes, it's well written, well drawn and generally been five steps ahead of naruto in terms of quality, certainly beats Dragonball in my opinion. Judging a manga by it's anime counterpart is extremely closed minded. That's like judging Fight Club to be a terrible book simply because of having a dislike for Brad Pitt's acting.
Out of curiosity and laziness, did Full Metal Alchemist make it into the list? If it didn't then someone needs to be shot in the eyeball.

Fullmetal Alchemist was on 4th place.
Gonna restart reading it one of these days... before 2010 anyway.

Ah sweet, it truly deserves that spot. I'm mostly caught up with it and, damn, as good as the anime was, the manga puts it to shame, especially when the events noticeably split off. It just goes far beyond anything that the anime explained and did, not to mention it makes a lot more sense than the ending to the anime. I'd certainly recommend you read it.

Yeah, FMA is still being made as far as I'm aware, though it's not on a weekly release schedule by the look of it and the chapters are far bigger than naruto or bleach.

It's contextual English. "All those mangas are not finished" specifies the understood "not". In result, his phrase should be interpreted as "Not all of those mangas are finished" rather than "Each of those mangas are not finished", which clearly emphasizes individual completion over a group categorization.

Yes, he said all those mangas aren't finished, but such a sentance structure can mean two different things. It can mean that every single one of them aren't finsihed and are still being made, as you interpreted, but it can also mean that not all of them are finished as Azurite meant.
It's the English language, the same words and sentances can have completely different meanings, there's no point in bickering over what he said simply because you only understood one meaning.
EDIT: Damn Zeth's too fast.
