Playstation 3 is the flop...Its not even out yet, so you don't have any right to "bash" the 360.

MEtal solid gear is one of the most overrated series..EVER

I'm really looking forward to a fully fleshed out Bleach adventure game using the Revolution controller as a way to control your sword or other weapon I wish someone out there is making this one. Can only dream I guess.

Playstation 3's only great game will be MGS4, at least thats from what I have seen and know from the games coming for it.
Maybe some new franchises will emerge to take over the old ones. The inevitable high price of the console, together with rehashes of current franchises don't appeal to me much.

360 has quite a few japanese developed rpg's in the making, and has its share of support from the west development studios. Blue Dragon, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, [em] enchant arm, Lost Odyssey and a few others I have forgot the names to

The Playstation 3 may flop too you know, it will cost a lot, sure Sony might sell it a lower price but if blu-ray won't catch up, they are so f*cked (don't quote me for this, just my prediction).
Besides if it has faulty hardware *coughps2lasercough* people might reconsider buying a 400-500€ machine.
And you never know if nintendo revolution will take the 1st place, the dev costs are so low, innovative game play etc.

Im a big fan of the Sony Consoles and a big fan of soild snake either. I saw 2 Trailers from MGS4 and I can say its lookin fantastic, they said that there will be no prerendered scenes in that game, so the player will have free hand now.I readed out that they modeled those characters with Softimage XSI... and now with a new Upgrades of XSI they are planing to make a big improvemnt to the textures. And that sexeh Grandpa Snake ^^ , but hey =p he still can punch like in old times =]. Dunno how the story line will go in MGS4 ... I will make a little research though...

and by the way its nice that finally this site is up =]

Kojima stated in an interview that MGS4 could easilly be made for the 360, they only chose to make it for the Playstation 3 because they could get a Playstation 3 devkit before everyone else and liked to be the first on the development of a console. If you're gonna bash something then learn the bloody facts before you try.

you also have to realize Playstation 3 is actually worth like 500 dollars well it was suppose to because it uses blue ray. Actually Sony is saying it won't cost more than 500 more like 465

I only thing I hear about when someone talks about MGS4 is the graphics...Does anyone else think the graphics are that good? Afer playing quake4 maxxed at some high azz resolutions(1600x????) at my cousins house...it makes xbox360(next gen consoles) look like jokes..

As Dave said, try again. Quake 4 is one of the games on the 360 which is between generations, looks just as good as on the PC but not anywhere near as good as games like PGR3, Fight Night (as dave showed) or even Dead or Alive 4. The graphics are great and the gameplay of all the games I've played on it doesn't miss a beat. Honestly, people really need to be checking their facts before posting.

Every one needs to stop bashin playstation 3 and the xbox 360. The xbox 360 has the same graphic power as the Playstation 3, but not as much cpu to procces it, From what I can remember, the xbox 360 runs at 2.56GHZ where as the playstation 3 runs at 3.25, Now that give the Playstation 3 the upper hand but, the xbox 360 has halo 3, just as the playstation has metal gear solid 4, and reveloution has resident eveil,(not as much as nitendo used to). They all have their "secret weopons" but the fact is the Playstation 3 and pack for of a punch, now if the devs of the Playstation 3 have enough brains, they can make a bigger better game in terms of story and not sacrifice graphics for that.
