If I wanted a Mac... I'd buy a Mac. I'm quite happy with my XP layout.

XP has a horrible gui? Whatever it is called. *laughing out loud*

I was just trying to help people who don't like the beautimus XP style.. The Mac OS X Tiger looks a lot better, in my opinion.

personal taste guys.. personal taste.

some people prefer the apple UI, just because you don't like it doesnt mean it's bad.
Paulerxx, thanks for the link I think I can make a friend of mine rather happy with that.

Tell me about it >_<. Had to uninstall it so quake3 had enough memory to load again without corrupted graphics.

Lo.l, bull.sht.ter.
I probably have a bigger powerhouse than you. It's still a resource hog. Post your specs PLEASE. by the way you still use that old, SMALL resolution? I run at 1920x1200.

maybe thats why you are having problems...That resolution takes a lot out of your cpu and graphic card.

I am not having any, you did something to make it slow down your whizzy zazz.

and yeah I play quake3 maxed, 125, drops to around 80-85 when a lot of trash going on in front of me.

I'm quite sure I know more about tweaking than you. Considering I've made my own custom WinXP Unattended CD, which will install all of my necessary drivers, dissable all the useless services, and install the Applications that I want from a fresh install.
Thank you very much. And as I still will say, post your specs, then talk. Mine were already posted, search for them.

Well... I´ve tested it out a bit over the last two and a half months and I must say... It has made my laptop faster, more beautiful and (this is what counts) much more stable. I didn´t have to reboot my windows since I´m in germany (~8 weeks), wich is awesome for me Razz
