By studying the DBZ series on a per-frame snapshot level, the ZEQ2 project now has realize and employed a critical element to anime fluidity reproductions -- frame by frame animation styles. Traditional animation styles rely on automatic tweening from key frame to key frame to interpolate sequences. For traditional gaming concepts, this is good enough. To reproduce the motion and feel for an animated series, a non-blended direct approach is essential. Our frame by frame animation technique involves thousands upon thousands of reference shots each precisely reproduced on a 3-Dimensional character skeleton.
