Duh! I played so many times in CT! To tell the truth I Believe that CT's still the best RPG game I ever played (and I played a lot of them!). Stunning graphics, great soundtrack, deep characters, a plot worth an Oscar and a lot more... I was really hoping for that fan project! ;( Damn you Square Enix!

Why, oh why does the good projects get cease and decease letters?

I played world of warcraft for only a little while, and I a kind of disliked the game after 2 weeks. Still I'm quite anxious to DBZ online:D. I am atleast going to try it!

I find it to repetative to be interesting. Its allways the same poo. No variety. Kill monsters to get items so you can finish quests. In the end you kill 50 monsters for those 10 witty items you need.

I don't really find it exiting when all you do is sit back click on the monster kep hitting those potion buttons and the spells all day long just so you can gain a level or two so you can do it again for the next level.

Only MMO so far I like is Gunz. You have a vareity of weapons and you have to use them yourself. Aim yourself and shoot yourself. nothing is automated.

Gunz isn't an MMO.

All commercial MMOs (and most non-commercial ones) are designed with the exact same principles. You enjoy them because they are designed to be recursively addictive -- for the sake of profits. Very simple formula. Simply make the game widely available to anyone as viable "social network", make the concept never-ending, localize all aspects to the game to reward the player individually to give sense of progression on the player (not the game itself), use numbers/hours played to orient the game based on time spent (character ability) rather than skill (player ability), and then from there you really just need to throw in design/feature perks of customization and "option" to separate your general classes of MMORPG.

It's a very a simple concept that's SPECIFICALLY designed to be highly profitable and highly addictive. A purely genius, but highly devious, marketable concept that requires players to spend great amounts of time (and usually therefore money) to advance their character artificially.

Yeah, that's true. But, man... it's WoW we are talking about! I've seen it all. I was everywhere. I participated in houndrets raids/bgs/intances, etc. I had 4 diffrent chars up to 60 lvl! I even kicked Thrall's and Sylvanas 3-word-bottom-body-part's!

On the other hand, while it's fun to play the game and kill those mentioned above, it's very, very witty, this shouldn't be possible! They are supposly unbeatable heroes! Not to mention that it totally messes with my beloved WarCraft plot!

Think about it... If there would be WC4 as a continuation of WoW there would be no bad or good guys! They all would have been killed by houndrets of nameless players (Leroy Jenkins, anyone? ).

Plus after a while it can be boring. I stopped playing it a long time ago.

Thats why I said its the same poo over and over all the time. MMOs have about as much variety to gameplay as actors have freedom to edit the played character. While they improvise they can't really alter the charracter they play.

Same with MMOs while they look different. They are all the same on the inside. Beats me how they can not be borring when you are pressing the exact same 6 buttons all the time for hours in the same order over and over again.

EBFP yes it`s a stand-alone but the BFP with characters that aren`t from the series Gothax etc. and those RC1 RC2 and RC3 series still need Quake 3 to run
